This folder contains MOCs (Maps of Content) — navigational overlays that organize atomic entity pages by some scheme. MOCs do not contain claims; they list and link.
The same atomic page (e.g. [[cellular-senescence]]) can be referenced by multiple MOCs from different angles.
Existing MOCs
- hallmarks-of-aging — by molecular damage type (López-Otín, 12 hallmarks)
- sens-damage-categories — by repair strategy (SENS, 7 categories)
- by-organ-system — by affected body system (11 organ-system MOCs)
- sex-differences-in-aging — by biological sex (reproductive-endocrine axes + distinctively-sexed mechanisms + sex-bias in diseases)
Future MOCs (add as needed)
by-organ-system.md— group pages by affected organby-intervention-type.md— pharma vs lifestyle vs gene-therapy vs stem-cellby-life-stage.md— early-life programming vs midlife vs late-life pathologyby-drug-target.md— group compounds by molecular target
When adding a new MOC, ensure it cross-links to other relevant MOCs at the bottom (the “see also” section) so users can pivot between organizing schemes.
