An interactive map of how the drivers of human aging connect from everyday inputs
(diet, activity, smoking, sleep) through clinical risk factors (cholesterol, blood pressure,
blood sugar) and the molecular hallmarks of aging, down to the diseases people actually die of.
Adjust a lifestyle factor, a lab value, or a hypothetical intervention and watch life
expectancy, the projected cause-of-death breakdown, and each factor's trajectory over your
lifespan respond.
Mortality is modelled as sex-specific competing risks calibrated to open population data
(CDC WONDER mortality, NHANES, and published dose-response studies).
Hover the small (i) icons throughout for the assumptions and math behind any number.
⚠ This is an experiment, not a health tool.
It is built on real, open-access population data,
but it is a simplified sensitivity explorer for understanding how causal factors interact and
not a personal predictor and not a source of actionable medical insight.

Scroll to zoom, drag to pan, hover a node to isolate its links. Click a node to select it, then slow / override its aging on the timeline. ❄ = active override.
Selected node — none selected
Click a node in the graph to select it; slow or override its aging over time on the Biomarker & Intervention timeline.
A node override slows a node's intrinsic aging from a chosen age (0–100% strength) —
edited on the Biomarker & Intervention timeline (set a start age, optional end age, and strength there).
This button jumps to the timeline and pre-fills an override for the selected node. Mediators,
∫rate state nodes, exposures and labs are driven from the timeline too.
Add events to build a history over time. Behaviours/treatments step (hold until the next entry); lab measurements anchor the model at each draw. The vertical mark is "now".
Replaces the timeline · stays in your browser, nothing is uploaded. “Load example” (above) loads a built-in fictional demo medical history.

Node trajectories — value over age
Every node's value vs age, each scaled to its own display band (mediators in clinical units, state nodes & hallmark burdens normalized). Solid = current scenario; dashed = population baseline (shown for the hovered/selected line). Vertical mark = current age. Hover to identify the nearest line; click a hallmark line to select it for an intervention.
Hover a line to identify it; click a hallmark line to select it for an intervention.
Cause of death & survival by age
Stacked hazard decomposition (left axis) with the survival curve overlaid (right axis, 0–100%): solid navy = current scenario, dashed grey = all-default baseline. Shared age x-axis. External causes dominate youth → cancer & cardiovascular rise in midlife → cardiovascular dominates old age.
Hover the chart to read the cause breakdown at a given age.
